'The Acrylic Phase'

[Scroll to the bottom of this page to get to newer years.]

Starting in March 2019 I took the plunge and began working in acrylics. I took a really long time to get to painting since I wanted to hone my drawing skills as much as possible. I've since discovered that painting is an entirely different endeavor and allows me to experiment with abstract designs and linear techniques that are completely unlike drawing.

My task within the art world is quite simple. Connect you, the viewer with an image to invoke, evoke or remind. I do that through shape, color and size. Thus, you will see a variety of shapes, colors and sizes of images that serve these purposes. Nothing fancy. Just something to stimulate your senses.

Nearly all of my work is for sale. I hold periodic sales from my home studio and participate in the yearly Desert Open Studios Tour. I use Venmo, Zelle or Square for credit cards, and will accept cash. If you purchase one of these it will be matted and/or framed if it's a drawing, or on canvas or canvas board, or on Masonite, also framed, and ready to hang. If oil or acrylic all are varnished.

All paintings and drawings are unique, one-of-a-kind and will not be duplicated by me. Thus, you will own an original.
